Calligraphy Exhibition 2006 Print E-mail

The UTS Calligraphy Club presented 3rd annual Calligraphy Exhibition on February 26 – March 5, 2006. Master Ichiro Hayashi, who has been practicing calligraphy for over 40 years, was the guest of honor.

Master Hayashi began the Calligraphy Club while a student at UTS and continues to support it as an alumnus. He emphasized that calligraphy is not only a way of writing, but an art given as a gift from God to all humankind. Over 30 beautiful examples of student calligraphy were on display, headed by True Father's own calligraphy, "Unification Theology" which he presented to UTS many years ago.  

Students and members of the community continue to practice their calligraphy skills every Saturday morning.
