Students at the Barrytown College of the Unification Theological Seminary (UTS) got a face-to-face meeting with Dr. Michael Balcomb and Dr. Hugh Spurgin on Thursday, March 19, and learned of some sobering realities and some good news, too.

Two Unification pastors, both working moms, are newly enrolled as students in the Doctorate in Ministry degree program at UTS, in which students meet in Barrytown for 2 weeks in August and 2 weeks in February, and do the rest of their coursework at home.

On Friday October 27, the UTS Theologians' Club held its weekly meeting with a presentation by Rev. Bessell on the topic: "The Process of Resurrection". This was a follow-up on the topic of "Ancestor Liberation" from last week. We had a very lively discussion about ancestors, life in the Spirit World and our responsibility during earthly life, which will be continued this week.

We also discussed about our further activities. The next few presentations will be on “Buddhism” by Mr.Kudo; “Islam” by Mr.Abdel; and "Women's Era" by Rev. Bessell.

We cordially invite students as well as faculty and staff to our weekly meeting every Friday 7 am in the Small Conference dining room at Barrytown campus.
