M.B.A., Heriot Watt University, UK Mr. Holt's approach to financial management for nonprofit organizations involves presenting students with a broad panorama of the entire spectrum of financial management and accounting fundamentals, extensive use of the internet for research, and the acquisition of practical analytical techniques and skills.
Mr. Holt has served as a Unification Church pastor in the UK, Louisville, Providence and Tarrytown, and has been an active missionary and preacher in the UK and throughout the US. Since 2001, he has served as the Church's CFO and most recently as its Treasurer. Mr. Holt has extensive accounting and management experience in both the business and nonprofit sectors, and has designed from the ground up complex accounting and IT solutions. Mr. Holt's experience includes investment and equities trading, asset management, and financial management of large business organizations. Mr. Holt has authored several guidebooks for use in internal management of nonprofits. He currently serves as a director on the boards of several business corporations and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Holt has lectured on financial management for nonprofit organizations since 2006. |
